DERIVATION OF STATE & PARAMTER ESTIMATION EQUATION
Keywords:

. Adaptive observers/identifiers are an essential part of modern control system theory specially when the states and/or parameters of the system are unknown or partially unknown, or physically they are impractical to measure. The design of observers/identifiers are usually based on algorithms that are well established such as Kalman filtering, recursive least squares, stochastic approximation, and stability criterion. In this paper, we will shed the light on a state space equation model that can serve the basis of yet another design for an observer/identifier.
